BASEBALL REFERENCE

2. The Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) is a membership organization dedicated to fostering the research and dissemination of the history and record of baseball, primarily through the use of statistics. The organization was founded in Cooperstown, NY, on August 10, 1971, at a meeting of 16 “statistorians” coordinated by sportswriter Bob Davids. The organization now reports a membership of over 7,000 and is based in Phoenix, AZ.

SABR also operates a message board where the Hughie Jennings EE-YAH! Baseball Game is discussed, see link: https://sabrbaseballgaming.com/

SABR

3. Major League Baseball endures because of its historical reference points, and Baseball Almanac has dedicated itself to preserving the history of our national pastime. BASEBALL ALMANAC

4. Interesting website that has useful baseball information especially in regard to various rankings.

Learn about the different eras of baseball, the different leagues that were started in the past, and the games most famous players and teams.

HISTORIC BASEBALL

8. Interesting website that seeks to explain baseball in a clear and simple manner so that the game can be more easily understood by younger fans. With that said, the website has some interesting links for folks of all ages. (Suggested by Tyler)
