1922 OMEGA DAIRY BASEBALL STARS -- SERIES TWO

$18.00

Are you a baseball card collector who loves pre-WWII cards but just can’t afford ridiculous prices for the real thing? You’re not alone as most of us can’t pay $100-$5,000+ for a card of Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb or even a common minor star issue.

THE SOLUTION! Enter the baseball card hobby’s most innovative hybrid issue! We sell real original unused milk caps from the 1920s-1930s with a NEW period appropriate baseball player photo back.

Each cardboard milk cap is 1 ½” round in near Mint condition. One side is in color with a dairy logo, in this case “Omega Dairy.” We place baseball player photos with sepia background on the flip side. Please note that the milk caps you receive will not have watermark stamp.

Collectors tell us that these baseball milk caps are reminiscent of the 1909-11 Colgan’s Chips Stars of the Diamond sets and 1910-12 Sweet Caporal pins. Our cards look real because of course the dairy caps are real.

The cards we have for sale in this listing are based on the 1922 season. You can choose from the following 5 series (each series will come with 5 different cards):

SERIES 1: Ty Cobb, Urban Shocker, Casey Stengel, Jake Daubert & George Uhle

SERIES 2: Babe Ruth, Tris Speaker, Burleigh Grimes, Ken Williams & Irish Meusel

SERIES 3: George Sisler, Zach Wheat, Eddie Rommel, Eppa Rixey & Rabbit Maranville

SERIES 4: Rogers Hornsby, Dazzy Vance, Eddie Collins, Pete Alexander & Joe Bush

SERIES 5: Walter Johnson, Waite Hoyt, Max Carey, Red Faber & Bobby Veach

Unless we find more caps from the same dairy, you will never see this exact grouping again. Basic milk caps of this era (with no baseball photos) often individually sell for $1-$8 a piece so there is inherent value in the caps alone.
